Vanessa Matos Gonçalves completed the integrated master's degree in Biomedical Engineering with a major in Medical Electronics in 2022 from Universidade do Minho, Portugal. In 2020 started as Research Assistant at Hahn-Schickard, Germany, where she holds the same position to date. She has received 2 awards and/or honors and works in the area of Engineering and Technology with emphasis on Medical Engineering and has assay development, nanomedicine, molecular diagnostics, biosensors and microelectronics as research interests. She is team-oriented, committed to the projects in which she is involved, and has excellent communication skills due to foreign travel and involvement in multidisciplinary and multicultural projects/teams.
