Languages and Data are my passion! I first came to Japan as a marketing supporter for Volkswagen Japan and focused on event planning and social media. During my time at VGJ I looked around for full-time jobs available in Japan. I wanted to work for a startup and immediately fell in love with Supership, an online advertising agency based in Tokyo and subsidiary of KDDI. Despite my studies in Sociology I couldn't get my eyes off "Data Science" so I applied and entered my dream team. I had no prior knowledge about programming and limited knowledge about statistics but still took the challenge and was able to adapt quickly. In about half a year I taught myself how to use SQL and later on Python. To work closer with other people, I've made the change the the HR department last year. With my knowledge I'm working on reducing human error.
