Dr. Vinh Q. Trinh's a Senior Research Fellow at TU Darmstadt, Germany. He received his M.Sc. degree in control engineering. He received his Dr.-Ing. degree from TU Darmstadt in 2013. His research topic's the complex mathematical modeling of high-power LEDs, including their electrical, thermal, and optical behavior, as well as their light and color quality. He's co-author of several scientific publications and holds patents in the field of SSL. He's currently a development engineer at Carl Zeiss MultiSEM GmbH.

In mining industry, for the group of low voltage - high current electric motors, there're big problems in the process of starting. Therefore, it is necessary to research an available solution. In the thesis, the research - design - simulation're implemented to find the most appropriate solution for it.

    Focus: Industrial Automation, "Research, design and manufacture of automatic humidity, temperature and dew point meter". There's a good relationship between humidity, temperature and dew point. However, if temperature can be measured very accurately, humidity's not easy to measure. Therefore, if the dew point can be determined well, the accurate measurement of humidity can be improved. Therefore, the chilled mirror hygrometer is researched, designed and manufactured to solve the above problems.
