Leitung der Abteilung Biological Science bestehend aus 3 Teams: dem pharmazeutischen Mikrobiologielabor, der biopharmazeutischen Gruppe und dem auf Lebensmittel fokussierten DNA- und Proteinlabor. Unterstützung der Kunden mit Qualitätskontrolle von Rohmaterialien, Wirkstoffen, Arzneimitteln und Lebensmitteln nach GMP und ISO/IEC 17025

Designed and developed strategy for Analytical Science organisation in AP. Built from scratch analytical laboratory and organisation for China. Consolidated existing teams in Australia and increased capabilities in India.

I manage the Analytical Chemistry group. My team includes 12 analysts and scientists with up to 7 different nationalities. My key responsibilities are: • To support the product development teams with timely delivery of physical and chemical analytical data, new analytical solutions, and to develop new fundamental understanding of our processes and products. • To support the Corporate Quality organisation and plant quality managers

Görtler and Partner is a German company with two accredited analytical contract laboratories and 40 employees. The focus of the company’s work is with contaminant analyses and pollution exploration projects with fixed term commissions. I had complete technical and managerial responsibility for organising the laboratory of the Munich head office, acquisition of customers and dealing with tenders and offers.

Responsibility for the central environmental laboratory and an environmental research project.

From 1990 to 1994 I was mainly working on my PhD thesis, developing analytical methods with HPLC and AAS From 1992 to 1994 my responsibilities were stepwise increasing. My final responsibility was managing the analytical laboratory and conducting interdisciplinary environmental research projects about atmospheric deposition and the effects on soil and water quality. I also coordinated the 13 groups working within the projects.
