Über die Tätigkeit
- Provide management with financial and analytical support and detailed insights to act as a trusted partner on strategic decisions
- Coordinate and supervise the various financial activities of the German entities and formulate and oversee the finance strategy and policies in line with the business strategy
- Ensure accurate accounting, cost prices calculations, resolving complex issues, reviewing balance sheet items and tax calculations
- Participate in the annual budget process and quarterly forecast process
- Manage the closing and reporting processes for the companies in Germany together with management, local finance teams and shared service centre
- Proactively analysing, delivering and communicating results (monitoring variances, identifying trends, etc) across the different departments
- Control and follow up on finance procedures in line with the Fagron guidelines to improve the quality of the current processes and tools
- Motivate and coach a team of finance professionals to (further) develop their capabilities, skills and knowledge
- Participate in Ad hoc projects (i.e. advice on contract negotiations, lead local ERP implementations…)
Ihr Profil
You have experience in a dynamic environment in which you will fully operational, but also think along at strategic level.
- A Bachelor or Master’s degree in Business Economics, Accounting or Controlling
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar position
- Excellent accounting knowledge (IFRS) and German reporting requirements
- Experience with Financial and ICT processes (Microsoft Dynamics 365/AX is an advantage)
- Clear interest in new IT tools in the area of financial analysis and reporting, Power BI is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English
- Expert in Microsoft Office (Powerpoint, Excel)
- Affinity with an innovation-driven organization
- Positive and collaborative attitude, solid team player with the ability to work independently in a confident, deliberate and productive manner, being analytical, accurate and performance driven
- Ability to research issues and arrive at logical well-documented analysis and conclusions
- Willing to travel in Germany
