In this role, you’ll dive headfirst into the electrifying world of electric and battery-powered vehicles. You’ll have the chance to work partially remotely, however occasional travel and presence is required in our division headquarters in Turku. Meet the Fluid Power Team
- The Fluid Power team serves as a dedicated technology team specializing in underground loaders and trucks.
- Our core focus lies in two critical areas: hydraulics and cooling system design for these robust machines.
- We actively engage in the development and continuous support of machine technologies throughout their entire lifecycle.
Your primary areas of responsibility.
- Your role involves designing hydraulic systems for underground loaders and actively participating in machine projects and subsystems projects.
- You are responsible for the hydraulic system module(s) and coordinate development work with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Together with the other technology and product teams you have responsibility for the design and analysis of the necessary measurements.
- Working in close cooperation with our component suppliers.
- Support our production and test run regarding hydraulics related matters.
- Independently performing measurements and adjustments, and you provide guidance to others in your areas of expertise.
- Position includes occasional project related travel, typically planned well in advance.
Your background and what we find important
- You should hold a relevant degree (B.Sc. or M.Sc.) in the field of engineering.
- Knowledge of mobile equipment hydraulics systems design and diagram drawing.
- Knowledge of hydraulic system controls and simulations would be advantageous.
- Fluent communication skills both in Finnish and English.
- Proactive and systematic way of working and excellent skills in problem-solving will be needed.
- You should naturally thrive as a team player in a multicultural and international environment.
