To further strengthen our team, we are looking for you as IT Security & Network Operations Specialist (f/m/d), with a primary focus on Data Loss Prevention (DLP).
You will be at the forefront of safeguarding our organization against potential data breaches, policy violations, and unauthorized data exfiltration attempts. Your expertise encompasses a wide array of security tools and processes, including security incident response, vulnerability management, threat remediation, and security assessments.
This position is based in Zurich. Foreign candidates must be willing to relocate to Switzerland.
Responsibilities
- Incident Monitoring and Management: Take lead of monitoring, managing and triaging security incidents, with a sharp focus on DLP strategies, ensuring prompt detection, investigation and response to potential threats.
- Vulnerability Management Leadership: Take a pivotal role in our global vulnerability management solution, specifically addressing vulnerabilities related to data leakage risks.
- Interface Management: Act as a liaison between internal system owners and the external Security Operations Center (SOC), ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Gap Analysis: Conduct thorough gap analyses to identify and rectify deficiencies in our security posture, providing actionable recommendations.
- Compliance Assurance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards (such as CIS, GDPR, DORA) by meticulously documenting and reviewing security policies and procedures.
- Security Operations Support: Actively engage in and assist with the management and resolution of all security operations tasks, including those pertaining to network operations.
- Auditing Liaison: Serve as a liaison between the CISO office, auditors, and internal teams during audit activities, supporting reporting concerning security scores and incidents.
- Collaborate closely with IT Security & Network Engineering
- Documentation and Knowledge Transfer: Maintain up-to-date documentation of processes and procedures, facilitating seamless knowledge transfer across teams. Ideally has experience with Atlassian Confluence.
- On-Call Service: Demonstrate willingness to participate in an on-call service rotation, ensuring continuous coverage and support for security incidents outside regular working hours.
Experience
- Education and Expertise: Hold a university degree or equivalent education, with a solid background in IT security principles and extensive experience in DLP and VuMA areas. Continuously stay up to date on TTPs. Microsoft and other security certifications are considered a big plus.
- DLP Expertise: Demonstrates experience with DLP solutions, focusing on the detection and mitigation of data loss incidents, ensuring our data remains secure.
- Technical Proficiency: Demonstrates advanced proficiency with Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Sentinel (SIEM), KQL scripting, Anti-Phishing defense and has a comprehensive understanding of other Azure core technologies, XSOAR and Ticket Management Systems.
- Solution-Oriented Approach: Combine a solution-oriented, enthusiastic team approach with an independent, responsible work ethic, consistently upholding high standards of quality.
- Continuous Learning: Exhibit a passion for continuous learning and skill development, with a quick grasp of emerging technologies and trends, especially in the area of Data Loss Prevention (DLP).
- Networking: Is familiar network technologies and protocols with a focus on security log and network traffic monitoring.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex security incidents, providing actionable recommendations for mitigation and prevention.
- Communication Skills: Possess excellent English verbal and written communication skills, knowledge in German considered a plus.
