As a Global Product Manager for laboratory equipment I was responsible e.g. for Liquid Handling Systems from Art Robbins Instruments and Poly-Pico Technologies. Client care, key account management and the implementation of marketing strategies as well as performing market surveys were some of my most important duties. Besides this, I was the head of the technical department consisting of 3 employees.
I was responsible for busisness development, marketing affairs including the organization of meeting participations, homepage creation and administration. Besides this I was chief coordinator of scientific projects with the goal of creating a new a fission yeast based protein production platform and of developing a Bio-MEMS platform technology for the analysis of growth parameters of microorganisms with the overall goal of facilitating subsequent up-scaling processes.

During my Post-Doctoral period at the department of Biochemistry I was responsible for supervising students and coordinating scientific projects. During this time I was able to publish my scientific results in a variety of high ranking biochemical journals like JACS , Biochemistry and FEBS Letters . My scientific work was focused on the examination of mitochondrial steroid hydroxylating systems.

While working on my Ph.D. thesis, which I concluded in 2005 with the highest degree (summa cum laude), I was responsible for training and supervision of technical co-workers, undergraduate and graduate students. Also, I learned how to prepare scientific manuscripts, research proposals and applications for scientific devices (e.g. successful HBFG-proposal for a Biacore 3000 device in 2004). My scientific work involved the examination of the influence of phosphorylations on complex electron transfer reactions
