Bachelor s or Master s thesis: IT management in manufacturing companies in the age of AI

At the FIR at RWTH Aachen University, we support companies on their journey to Industry 4.0 and develop methods and procedures for implementing digital transformation. This includes, among other things, the development of digital business models, the application of the latest Industry 4.0 technologies, and the design of processes and digitalization strategies.

These are your tasks:

• Independent research of scientific texts and preparation of literature

• Identification of data governance instruments for the production environment

• Conducting case studies and expert interviews

• Consideration of the data basis when using technologies

What you bring with you:

• You are studying mechanical or industrial engineering

• You have very good written and spoken German and English skills

• You are characterized by an independent and careful way of working and show initiative

• Interest in data management and data quality

• You are confident in using common MS Office applications

• Interest in current topics relevant to consulting
