Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and optimize polyglot and language-specific machine learning models for a broad range of languages with a strong focus on seq2seq models and classifiers.
- Develop and enhance solutions that employ such models to solve challenging text normalization and classification problems in the context of text-to-speech.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver high-quality results.
- Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field of NLP and machine learning.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and linguistic experts, providing technical leadership and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
Qualifications:
- MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in machine learning, with a focus on NLP.
- Proven experience with seq2seq models, transformers, and other advanced NLP architectures.
- Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
- Experience with multilingual NLP applications and understanding of the challenges associated with them.
- Solid understanding of machine learning principles, algorithms, and statistical methods.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with MLOps practices and tools.
- Experience with text to speech.
- Proficiency in another language than English.
