Global EHS Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the company's environmental, safety, and health programs across all global operations. This role ensures compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, promotes a culture of safety, and drives continuous improvement in EHS performance.
What you can change — your duties
Develop, implement and streamline global EHS guidelines, policy, procedures and standards. Foster a culture of safety and health within the organization.
Oversee worldwide EHS performance goals, monitor and report on EHS performance metrics and trends in globe. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance EHS performance and sustainability.
Conduct regular EHS audits and inspections to identify and mitigate risks in key operations sites. Guide and coach regional and plant EHS team to implement corrective actions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS considerations into business processes. Work closely with stakeholders to drive EHS, ESG and Sustainability initiatives.
Manage global EHS-related reports, documentation and records. And work for the relevant EHS content in JSS Sustainability report.
Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies, government and external stakeholders on EHS matters. Ensure the organization meets all regulatory requirements and align with local, national, and international EHS regulations and standards.
Guide and provide mentorship to regional EHS team.
Impress us – your qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or above, major in Safety engineering, environmental engineering is a plus.
At least 15 years of working experience in EHS management, with at least 5 years in a global or multi-site role in manufacturing industry.
Familiar with EHS management and security systems. Extensive knowledge of EHS regulations, standards, and good practices.
Strong global experience, familiar with key oversea EHS policy like Europe and US.
Excellent internal and external coordination and communication skills.
Strong ability to analyze and solve problems.
Data analysis and reporting.
Strong interpersonal skills, with certain influence and persuasion.
Ability to develop and implement EHS strategies.
Fluent in German and English (both oral and written).
