Intern (m/f/d) Systems Engineering Software Development
The Systems Engineering team is looking for a motivated intern to support in the development and maintenance of various department internal tools. The goal is to improve upon the already existing internal tools used for various critical processes like requirements management, Verification and Validation, System Modelling and System Architecture.
Your Tasks
Your Tasks:
- Support in maintaining existing code bases for Department internal tools
- Bring a fresh and educated eye to improve the tools where possible
- Implement high priority features still missing from the tools
- Support in setting up a new tool currently in the pre-planning stage.
Your Qualifications
- BSc/MSc in a STEM discipline (Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, ..)
- Extensive experience in python projects. Especially with a focus on
- Parsing Data between different sources using pandas or similar packages
- Interacting with WebApps using API hooks
- Very Basic UI programming with python packages
- Experience setting up SQL databases is a plus
- A good understanding of GIT and its embedded processes
- The basics of the GIT workflow like committing, pushing, and merging branches should be second nature to you
- Experience with CI/CD Pipelines is a big plus
- An affinity for Systems Engineering and/or rockets is a plus, but not a must have
- Fluent in English
- Ability to work and think autonomously and independently
