Python Data Engineer with passion for Data Analysis (m/f/d) in IT security company

Your role

If you love writing clean Python code, querying raw data from SQL and NoSQL systems, and working in and managing Dockerized environments — this is your kind of role. We’re looking for someone who goes beyond data analysis, who enjoys building data workflows, thinking in systems, and understanding how data models support the bigger picture. You should be comfortable with Git, enjoy automating and tweaking workflows, and write production-level Python, think APIs, scripting, and orchestration. This is a great fit for a technically-minded data professional who solves problems through code, not just tools.

Experience with Docker and Git is essential for this role. We are seeking a candidate who is comfortable working in Docker environments, skilled in version control systems, and possesses strong Python programming abilities beyond basic libraries like Pandas.

You'll collaborate directly with our Senior Data Scientist, helping turn raw data into insights and targets that drive our business goals.

• Ensure data integrity by processing, cleaning, and validating raw data for accurate and consistent analysis
• Perform exploratory analysis and build robust data pipelines from diverse sources using SQL and Python
• Build and automate dashboards, enhancing reporting logic to support data-driven decision-making for senior leadership
• Design and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable data infrastructure to enable advanced analytics and long-term growth

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant work experience in Analytics, Data Science, Business Intelligence or comparable fields
• Profound experience with programming languages such as Python, SQL and Shell Script
• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, JSON, MongoDB)
• Familiarity with ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)
• Experience with Git and Docker
