We are seaking an entry-level professional responsible for supporting tax and accounting functions, with a focus on tasks requiring proficiency in both German and English.

• Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns (corporate, VAT, withholding tax, etc.) in compliance with applicable local tax regulations and international standards
• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, including the preparation of pre financial statements and balance sheets
• Preparation of payroll accounting as well as preparation and participation in tax and social security audits
• Perform basic accounting tasks such as data entry, account reconciliations, and booking of invoices
• Analyze and interpret accounting data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and company policies
• Communicate with clients, colleagues, or tax authorities to clarify discrepancies, gather information, and resolve issues
• Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to ensure efficient and accurate tax and accounting processes
• Stay updated on changes in applicable tax law and accounting standards.
• Support audits and provide documentation as required.

• Completed vocational training as a tax clerk
• Proficiency in German (C1 or higher) and English (min. B2 level)
• Strong analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail
• Good knowledge of google sheets and able to use accounting software
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Previous experience or internships in accounting or tax preferred
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and regulations
• Proactive and engaged work ethic
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Interest in continuous professional development and obtaining further certifications
• Dresden area would be preferred
