My journey at trivago has been defined by continuous growth, exploration, and investigating interesting problem spaces within the UX Research team. Together, we are championing meaningful and exceptional travel experiences.

Graduating in tourism during the pandemic was a challenge, but things fell into place. Right after, a friend from trivago told me about an open role as an International Media Buyer. I applied, got it, and life immediately got busier and more exciting!


When I started out as a part-time working student, focusing on quality assurance, I was introduced to the domain of data exploration. Since then, I have been captivated by the excitement of delving into data to discover new perspectives and create value.

In a world of constant change, I've discovered that leadership can be an incredible force for navigating it. Whether as a human, a product manager, or a female lead in tech – across different contexts, I've faced the challenge of being told how things should be done a certain way.

I've always been a doer, a maker — the type who likes to imagine the concept, plan the operations, and bring things to reality — and nothing is better than being in a company that encourages the intrapreneurial spirit for me to explore my full potential.

Stepping into the German tech market was always in my career plan, and trivago was one of a few companies that have always interested me because I knew it would be a perfect place for my professional growth.



The best part of working at trivago, for me, is the freedom and trust that my lead and management provide. I have the chance to challenge the status quo, develop new tools, and explore new platforms to support our overall marketing efforts.

I always dreamt about working in an international environment where I could expand my horizons, both professionally and personally speaking. And from day 1 at trivago, I knew I had found my place!


Working in HR has not been easy these past years and we had to deal with quite some ambiguity across different topics but luckily here at trivago I met a lot of people that share the same work ethics as I do, which makes collaboration productive and fun.


I started working at trivago nearly 12 years ago when I was still in school and wanted to earn some extra money on top of my usual allowance. At that time I was already participating in computer science classes, and with trivago being an IT company in my hometown of Düsseldorf, all my requirements were fulfilled!
