Commercial Data Analyst / Scientist (d/f/m) - Revenue Management

Your tasks:

• Perform in-depth analysis of pricing data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.
• Utilize statistical and data analysis tools to extract meaningful insights from large datasets including revenue forecasting models that incorporate various factors, including pricing, demand, seasonality, and market dynamics
• Identify key pricing drivers and factors influencing customer behavior.
• Prepare clear and concise reports and visualizations to communicate pricing insights to key stakeholders and facilitate decision-making processes.
• Collaborate with the pricing team to develop and refine pricing strategies based on data-driven insights.
• Evaluate and recommend pricing adjustments to enhance profitability, utilization and competitiveness.
• Conduct price elasticity analysis to determine the impact of price changes on demand and utilization.

Your profile:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Economics, Business, Statistics, Data Science).
• Proven experience in data analysis and pricing. Knowledge of pricing strategies, revenue management principles, and demand forecasting techniques.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI, Python, SQL or similar).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work with complex data sets.
• Knowledge of statistical modeling and forecasting techniques.
• Strategic and analytic thinker with a data-driven mindset.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Adaptable and able to handle changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Business acumen and a deep understanding of market dynamics.
• Very good knowledge of English required, knowledge of German would be an advantage.
