Global Strategic Procurement Manager (m/f/d)

Ihre Aufgaben

• Definition of key sourcing strategies aligned to Olympus business requirements to be socialized and executed across global procurement team for production material and products/ finished goods manufactured externally including risk-management
• Develop strong partnership with key business stakeholders and global procurement team members
• Close collaboration with the global procurement organization in support of defined strategies
• Sourcing, supplier selection, contract negotiation and management
• Ensure early supplier identification and selection, working closely with Advanced Sourcing team
• Supplier relationship management (SRM)
• Supplier performance management and supplier development
• Responsible for the development and execution of cost improvement pipeline for Olympus 3rd party direct spend.
• Continuous improvement of material and services costs
• Develop and drive continuous improvements in global Category Management and Advanced Sourcing processes

Ihre Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related discipline, MBA or equivalent preferred
• 7+ years of experience in international strategic procurement in a manufacturing environment
• Experience in leading and participating on cross-functional and/or global teams, and a track record of successfully leading strategic initiatives and problem-solving initiatives
• Experience in the development and management of an international supply base is essential
• Supplier relationship management (SRM)
• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with ability to see issues from multiple viewpoints and understand differing needs of stakeholders (e.g. Business, R&D, Quality, Operations, Suppliers);
• Fluency in English
