We are looking for a Product Information (PIM) Manager (m/f/d) to join our Corporate Communications department at TDK Electronics.

Your responsibilities
- Gathering and Analysis:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and objectives for the PIM system.
- Conduct thorough analysis to define detailed PIM requirements and specifications.
- Contribute to the design and functionality of the PIM system to support unified digital user experience initiatives
- Conceptualize the needs of the business and build PIM product roadmap and requirements
- Translate customer needs into high-level business requirements and associated functional/technical specifications
- Document and communicate requirements to technical teams and other stakeholders.
- PIM System Implementation:
- Lead the selection and evaluation of PIM software solutions.
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets for PIM implementation in collaboration with external partners
- Coordinate with IT, product management, and other departments to ensure successful implementation.
- Oversee data migration, system integration, and user training activities.
- Data Management and Maintenance:
- Establish and enforce data governance policies and standards.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness across all product information.
- Regularly audit and clean product data to maintain high data quality.
- Develop and maintain data workflows and processes for efficient data entry and maintenance.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Monitor PIM system performance and user feedback to identify areas for improvement.
- Implement enhancements and updates to the PIM system as needed.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in product information management.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, IT, and product development.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to ensure alignment and support for PIM initiatives.
- Provide regular updates and reports on PIM activities, progress, and performance metrics.
Your qualification
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, engineering, science or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience:
- Proven experience as a PIM Manager or similar role with >5+ years of experience in large-scale companies
- Strong background in product information management and data governance.
- Experience with PIM software solutions (e.g., Salsify, inRiver, Akeneo) and ERP systems.
- Demonstrated success in managing large-scale PIM implementations.
- Skills:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong project management and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in data management and data quality assurance.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
