Job Description

We are currently looking for a Scientist to support for large chemometric/spectroscopy projects for our team near Munich. If you are currently looking for a new, exciting challenge with a lot of responsibility and varied tasks within an international team, we would be very pleased to hear from you. The duties of this exciting position will include the following:

• Accountable for carrying out chemometric analyses
• Proactive coordination and implementation of chemometric/spectroscopy trainings
• Hands-on method development, method improvement, and validation, including but not limited to HPLC, UV-Vis Spectroscopy, FTIR, NIR and Raman systems
• Integral part of international project teams and supporting with project management
• Participates in the preparation of technical documents, including reports by ensuring full compliance with the GMP standards
• Support in troubleshooting on chemometric/spectroscopic analytical problems

Qualifications

For this exciting challenge we are looking for someone with a science degree in the field of Analytical chemistry, biochemistry or comparable. We are also looking for someone with:

• Initial industrial experience and GMP experience are desirable
• Proven working experience with Raman and/or FTIR, NIR
• Experienced with writing reports, SOPs, and documents
• Hands on experience on project management to work independently and proactively
• Independent and proactive way of working in combination with very good time management experience and teamwork skills
• Fluent in German and English
• High level of commitment and enthusiasm
