Start today as an NSX/VMware Engineer for a brighter future. We are looking for a suitable candidate to support one of our clients in their Global Infrastructure team in Nuremberg. Your tasks are, but are not limited to, focusing on cloud networking and NSX services as well as implementing the expansion of virtual network offerings. Zu Ihren zukünftigen Aufgaben gehören:

Focus on the companies NSX environment and its transition to NSX-T

Implement the expansion of the virtual network offeringsMitarbeit in einem Scrum-Team

Be responsible for the virtual to physical interface

Be primary contact for NSX load balancing and firewalls
Help support the move to a fully integrated hybrid cloud infrastructure

Help support in planning and implementation of other projects / new designs

Help managing and implementing changes (Change management)

Manage and support installation of new versions and patches

Close customer contact during operative work

Help manage interaction with suppliers

Documentation of all executed tasks in a ticket tool and CMDB

Support team in daily cloud and infrastructure related tasks

Wir wünschen uns:

Administration of Cloud and private Cloud datacenter infrastructure

Working with public cloud services including AWS and Google Cloud

Good working knowledge of BGP and awareness of OSPF
Knowledge and understanding of VMware enterprise products
Sound understanding of network general knowledge beyond NSX (routing, firewalling, load balancing concepts)

Team-player, tech-enthusiast

Fluent in English, German Skills are a plus but not a must
