What awaits you
- As the central interface between business and IT, you advise and enable your colleagues from the specialist departments to use data strategically to create business added value.
- You are responsible for integrating data from various sources into the existing data warehouse architecture by developing new ETL pipelines and maintaining existing ones to ensure smooth data integration.
- You will place particular emphasis on data quality, governance and compliance requirements (e.g. GDPR), and implement appropriate tests.
- You design and develop high-quality data marts, reports and dashboards to support data-based decisions for the respective departments and management.
- You will conduct data analyses and ad hoc evaluations according to the requirements of our departments.
- You work in agile project, solution and product teams.
What you bring with you
- You have a degree in computer science, business informatics, data engineering, or relevant professional experience (at least three years) in a data warehouse environment.
Experience in the insurance or financial industry is an advantage. - You have in-depth knowledge of data warehouse technologies, SQL, relational databases (e.g., Oracle), test, release, and environment management.
Good knowledge of SAS is an advantage. - Your strong analytical and communication skills as well as your decisiveness enable you to communicate complex IT concepts clearly and effectively – to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- You bring initiative, strategic thinking and a spirit of innovation and work in a solution-oriented manner.
- You are reliable and enjoy working in a team.
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills complete your profile.
