We are currently seeking an experienced Account Manager Scandinavia to join our team. This role can be based in Denmark and will be responsible for managing and growing customer accounts across Scandinavia.
Role Purpose
The Account Manager will be responsible for managing the growth of all customer accounts in their portfolio, identifying and developing new business opportunities, and expanding relationships within customer organisations. This role plays a key part in driving sales, increasing market penetration, and ensuring strong customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and develop an account portfolio within rigid and flexible packaging, including trays.
Agree and achieve sales objectives for the assigned accounts.
Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and increase market penetration.
Develop and maintain sales forecasting systems to improve accuracy and reliability.
Implement customer service processes to effectively manage and resolve customer issues.
Foster strong relationships between internal and external stakeholders to drive collaboration and business growth.
Ensure compliance with commercial processes, utilising tools such as Salesforce, NPPI, and NOC.
Manage specific projects as assigned.
Gather and analyse market data to support decision-making.
Skills and Experience Required
Proven sales experience in the food packaging sector is essential.
Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to make sound business decisions in complex environments.
Experience in project management and delivering commercial results.
Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across a matrix organisation.
Proficiency in CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Access Database).
Key Competencies
Fluent in English and Danish (or other Nordic language).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both internally and externally.
Strong organisational skills, with a focus on time management and attention to detail.
Numeracy skills with the ability to manage and interpret data effectively.
