Your role and responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Head of Technology and Platforms, this role leads the IS Cloud and Engineering department in the delivery of cloud services, which involved enabling self-service solutions integrated with the defined self-service portal, using the approved tools and technologies. This includes enabling and governing the teams in creating and managing service catalogues that enable customers to provision and manage the infrastructure in an automated self-service way. You are accountable for developing and delivering on the global cloud strategy, ensuring close collaboration with Business Area IS teams at all times. You are the single point of contact for all cloud provider engagements in terms of design, build and execution of cloud services. Oversees and manages cloud commitments versus actual spend and ensures the contractual commitments are healthily being delivered upon. A key focus area is to create the cloud strategic roadmap aligned with the vision and requirement created by the business customer. The key responsibilities for this role are the following: BUILD SERVICES: Partners with the IS Business Process and Product Owners and all other IS organization leaders to assure the delivery of the supply services based on the deliverables agreed in the Service Agreement as well as projects. Collaborates with IS business customers and service owners, manages as-signed budget effectively and delivers activities within agreed schedules and costs. SERVICE DELIVERY: Is accountable for End-to-End effective and efficient delivery of Technology & Platform services as assigned and requested across all business domains. Responsible for adherence to SLAs to customers independently if service is sourced internally or externally. PROCESSES: Collaborates with all relevant IS departments and other key stakeholders to create integrated, business process-oriented SLAs across Technology & Platform services specific to Cloud & Engineering function. Is accountable to the IS internal and cross-functional processes are correctly applied at domain level. STRATEGY: Is accountable for the creation and approval of domain department and service strategies in line with Corporate and Business IS strategies. Responsible for development and execution of the ABB IS Cloud Strategy. Supports Corporate and Business IS strategy implementation. Applies the strategic vendor management policy and strategy. STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT: Leads the development of comprehensive stakeholder management strategies and plans. Builds long-term, strategic relationships with senior stakeholders (internal and external). Facilitates the engagement of stakeholders and delivery of services and change projects, acting as a single point of contact for senior stakeholders and external cloud providers, facilitating relationships between them. STANDARDS, IS COMPLIANCE: Adherence to Corporate IS Policies and Procedures, as well as to both in-ternal regulations and external legislation falls within the area of responsibility of this job. GOVERNANCE: Provides a view of upcoming demand to Service Build team and Service Run team and Consumer Experience Unit and all the other IS organizations involved. Ensures proper decision making, commitment management and business engagement through steering committee participation. PEOPLE LEADERSHIP: Manages senior individuals and groups of Managers. Allocates responsibilities and/or packages of work, including supervisory responsibilities. Delegates responsibilities as appropriate. Sets performance targets, and monitors progress against agreed quality and performance criteria. Provides effective feedback, throughout the performance management cycle, to ensure optimum performance. Ensures (with HR Manager support and with Capabilities) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor/master’s degree in information/business management, computer systems, software engineering or similar
• 15+ years of IT experience, specifically in IS Strategy, IS processes, IS sourcing and vendor management, including 5+ years of global IS management/leadership experience.
• Experience in delivering business value through strategy and portfolio management
• Proven leadership to manage and develop a functional network and partner with stakeholders across IS and the business.
• Collaborative mindset
• Continuous improvement driven.
• Fluent in English language, both written and verbal.
