Located in Coral Springs, Benchmark Property Management, Inc. serves more than 100 community associations in the South Florida area. Operating on the philosophy that a property management firm should not have any outside financial interest in the services provided to its clients, Benchmark Property Management has built and maintained respectful relationships with all the communities it serves. Family-owned and -operated since its inception, Benchmark Property Management benefits from every member of its executive team.
Due to the all-encompassing package of administrative, financial, and operational services offered, Benchmark Property Management relies on individual and collective efforts to satisfy the needs of its clients. Bill Sugarman, who founded Benchmark Property Management with his wife Barbara, is President of the company and maintains close contact with hundreds of board members. Also a licensed realtor, Mr. Sugarman is the Real Estate Broker for Benchmark Property Management’s sister company, Coral Springs’ Benchmark American Realty, Inc.
Barbara Sugarman, the Treasurer for Benchmark Property Management, brings years of experience as the Office Manager of an investment firm in New York. Also keeping close contact with board members, Mrs. Sugarman additionally manages the bookkeeping staff and works daily with banking institutions and association accountants. Standing as Director of Field Operations for Benchmark Property Management, Dan Sugarman oversees all the licensed community association managers. With more than 20 years of experience from building maintenance and paving roads, to fire alarm and sprinkler systems, Mr. Sugarman is the jack-of-all-trades for Benchmark Property Management.
Graduating cum laude with a Juris Doctor from Shepard Broad Law Center at Nova Southeastern University, Sharon Sugarman Kasen handles the majority of legal matters for Benchmark Property Management. Mrs. Kasen also creates and implements administrative procedures and works with the numerous attorneys representing client associations. Offering another strong arm to the realty aspect of Benchmark Property Management, Lisa Sugarman Smith is a licensed real estate professional who supervises all of the application and approval processes. Along with President Bill Sugarman, Mrs. Smith is also an agent with Benchmark American Realty, Inc.
