The Global Procurement Services (GPS) Organization with its International Purchasing and Service Offices in Asia was founded in 1995 by Wilfried Krokowski and was a result of the BME (German Federal Association of Material Management, Purchasing and Logistics e. V.) project Procurement in Far East.
Over the years GPS has supported Companies like Berker, Beumer, Contitech VC, Dorma, Elbau, Endress + Hauser, Eppendorf, Francotyp-Postalia, Heidelberger Druck-maschinen, Hengst, IFM Electronics, Kirchhoff Auto-motive Group, Krones, Meyra, Miele, Mubea, Pfannenberg, Phoenix Contact, Pokolm, P-W-F, Rieter, Sartorius, Senator, Sick, Stiebel-Eltron, Viessmann, Wagner, Wessel-Werk , WGF, Wolters and Zeiss in their activities in Asia.
Since our establishment, the role of GPS has been considerably extended to include sourcing, market research, identifying cooperation partners, supplier support, consulting, project management and quality control. Also the tooling business on plastics, die-casting and stamping parts is major part of our activities.
Another focus is our support to Small and Medium Enter-prises (SME) in their business expansion in Asia by assisting them in setting up their sales & distribution channels and production facilities in Far East.
The coordination of activities is handled by our GPS offices in Germany. The operational tasks are conducted by our GPS offices in Asia with Singapore as our main office headed by Kess Koh.
