With a growing acreage of prime whitetail deer territory in Pike County, Illinois, Hadley Creek Outfitters continuously improves its grounds to create the ideal habitat for producing trophy bucks. Hadley Creek Outfitters also regulates hunting pressure by eliminating competition between clients and guides. Instead of being permitted to hunt during their off time, Hadley Creek guides are not allowed to hunt on the property, and they receive a commission bonus for every buck their client kills that meets minimum harvest qualifications. Hunters at Hadley Creek Outfitters can explore and hunt on different grounds each day, unless they wish to return to previously visited plot or stand. Due to the skillfully managed food supply and hunting pressure regulations, Hadley Creek Outfitters has been able to increase its deer herd’s overall quality each year, with visible improvements since 2000 on display in its trophy rooms and photo galleries. The resident herd currently produces 15 to 20 whitetails per season grossing 170 inches or more. In the 2010 season, Hadley Creek hunters harvested 185 bucks with an average score in the mid-150s. Hadley Creek Outfitters expects another highly successful season in 2011.

One of the ways in which Hadley Creek Outfitters continues its property expansion is through partnerships with investors. Agricultural and recreational land represents a significant investment opportunity, and Hadley Creek Outfitters customizes investors’ and landowner’s properties to the desires of each. Investors may take an active role in crop planning, and some partner with Hadley Creek Outfitters with interests besides hunting deer, such as using the land for agriculture or mushroom gathering.
