Launched in 2001, Stella L. Pitts & Associates PLLC began as an independent law firm, but has since blossomed into a multi-attorney firm that is supported by a team of paralegals and administrative staff. With decades of experience in civil litigation, small business management, and financial accounting, Stella Pitts possesses a diverse spectrum of business knowledge and legal expertise, which she uses to secure the interests of her clients. Chris M. Kang, another attorney of the firm, attended the University of Washington School of Law where he acted as the President and co-founder of the Korean-American Law Student Association, which later earned him a scholarship award from the Korean American Bar Association. Christopher D. Pitts, an Associate Attorney of Stella L. Pitts & Associates, specializes in family law, bankruptcy, business transactions, and estate planning. Attorney Kevin C. Rowles joined the law firm in 2006 and is a member of the King County Bar Association Young Lawyers Division and the Washington Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Kevin has served as a continuing legal education instructor for attorneys in the area of family law. Located in the heart of downtown Seattle, Washington, Stella L. Pitts & Associates is affiliated with a number of law-related organizations such as the King County Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the Korean American Bar Association of Washington. Additionally, the firm actively supports the local community via its involvement with The Mockingbird Society, an organization that works to establish safe living conditions for children in foster care. The International District Housing Alliance, another nonprofit group embraced by Stella L. Pitts & Associates, is dedicated to enhancing the housing conditions for Chinatown/International District (CID) residents and Asian and Pacific Islanders (API) in an effort to improve their quality of life. The firm also supports Family Law Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of King County, which works to monitor the best interests of a child who becomes caught up in legal disputes. Stella Pitts has served as a board member for over one year. Stella L. Pitts & Associates has also contributed to the Seattle Art Museum Gallery.
