    Multiphysics and coupled numerical simulations are rapidly becoming important as interdisciplinary studies are gaining prominence. My PhD work involves development of numerically and computationally efficient methodologies and software for simulating coupled multi-physics problems.

    Tasks : - OpenFoam simulation of centrifugal blowers used in automobile HVAC systems and validation. Simulation process automation for minimal user interaction and remote execution. - Validation the simulation result with experimental values using both MRF(Multiple Reference Frames) and AMI(Arbitrary Moving Inerface). - Feature development in OpenFOAM using C++. Bash scripting.

    Performance optimization of graphics engine for visualization of results of Multi Body Simulation. Successfully optimized graphics engine using vertex and video buffers. Improved the performance by 2 fold by redoing parts of visualization using shaders especially Geometry Shaders. The above mentioned work is done for a graphics engine based on OpenGL and the frame work was based in C++ and Java.
