- Guidance and organization of scientific research in laboratory of Chemical Synthesis and Formulation. - Formulation of synthetic vaccines: development of an entirely new class of targeted immunotherapies and vaccines that induces an antigen-specific immune activation or an antigen-specific immune tolerance for therapeutic and prophylactic applications. - Design and synthesis of small molecules and biodegradable polymers for synthetic vaccines.

- Design and synthesis of nitrogen-containing ligands for uranium, iron and manganese chemistry (in collaboration with HENKEL): multistep synthesis of heterocyclic, anilinic and phenolic compounds. - Planning synthetic strategies for junior research associates.

- Custom synthesis of hetero- and carbocyclic compounds: development and optimization of synthetic strategy; multistep and parallel synthesis.

- Leadership of research organic chemistry project (with 3 doctors and one technician involved). - Research for and development of novel, ecologically and economically viable approaches for the selective utilization of petrochemical feedstock by olefin metathesis reaction and related chemistry (in collaboration with SIBUR). - Transfer from lab to semi-industrial scale.
