• Support the production team of ultra-precision optical components • Development of the 3D diamond model as per the prototype with CAD-SolidWorks for real-time simulation of the grinding mechanism • Calculation of the volume changes in diamond grinding through design automation in SolidWorks

• Planning and development of the tests with Design of Experiments to evaluate critical variables and interactions for process improvement • Setup and execution of operations on the 5-axis ultra-precision grinding machine • Measurements and analysis of the diamond surface accuracy and precision for statistical quality control followed by documentation of the results • 3D Modeling and modification of the heat reflector to optimize the grinding rate and grinding efficiency
