MicroShade is an early-stage clean technology business, focussed on energy efficiency, and based in Denmark. It has developed and markets MicroShade, a specialised, glazing-integrated and passive solar shading product. During this critical start-up phase the key priorities were to secure the immediate funding as well as the development capital for the next stage of the business, and also establishing the product in early markets, building a €20m sales pipeline.

UK subsidiary of Saint-Gobain, the world’s largest construction products group. Glassolutions UK manufactures, distributes, transforms and installs glass and glass products. Sales of £168m with 1,500 employees operating out of 40 locations across the UK. Responsible for manufacturing, distribution, contract glazing and emergency glazing operations.

Full profit and operational responsibility for Contracting Glazing and Emergency Replacement Glazing businesses, with combined turnover of £65m, operating across 15 UK business units.
