Als Leiter eines der 3 Geschäftsbereiche von Comverse - Managed Services trage ich die weltweite Verantwortung für die Entwicklung des Managed Services Geschäfts bei Comverse vom Lösungsportfolio über die Projekt-Akquisition bis zur Projekt-Abwicklung. Die letzten 15 Monate war ich bei Amdocs nach deren Akquisition des gesamten BSS und MS Business von Comverse.

Beginning of 2011 Alcatel-Lucent Services Group changed the business model from vertical (business divisions) to horizontal (functions with end-to-end services responsibility) in order to better address broadening customer requests. Services Business Development and Sales develops, manages and pursues an opportunity pipeline of several bnEuros covering all kind of end-to-end transformational services projects including but not limited to Managed Services.

Main achievement was to grow the Managed Services top line 7-times from 2006 to 2010, signature of >1 bnEuros new contract value per year. 15.750 technicians of different levels and skills and a reference base of 120 running Managed Services contracts made Alcatel-Lucent #1 in fixed network Managed Services and #2 in mobile networks globally.

Largest Business Unit within Managed Services with worldwide responsibility for Portfolio Management, Project Acquisition and Implementation Support for all Network Operations and Outsourcing solutions and projects of Alcatel Lucent. Achievements especially after the merger: 85 % yoy growth in revenues in 2007.

--> Creation and management of a Telecom Services Division in Alcatel Austria Growth of services business in Alcatel Austria from zero to 50 % of the total turnover of Alcatel Austria via introduction of a completely new service idea: telecom network outsourcing. 2003: biggest success in Austria and on the world market up until that date with the award of a 480 MEuro Telecom Network Outsourcing project from Austria’s mobile operator ONE.

--> General Management of 100+ SW-developmers In parallel: Regional Director CEE Enterprise Systems --> Business Development and Sales in about 15 countries in CEE

--> Full technical and operational responsibility for a fixed telecom operator Design and implementation of state of the art fixed telecom networks in 4 regions in Hungary plus the technical and commercial operation of these networks.
