Technical and disciplinary management of the Powertrain & Thermal Management department. Responsibility for the conceptual design, development and validation of the system as well as system integration. System/component responsibility (e.g. HV-Battery, Electric Drive Unit, DCDC, VCU, Thermal management). Responsible for technical approvals for project milestones and ensuring targets are met (e.g. performance assembly capability, functional safety and homologation).

Planning and coordination of EV-Powertrain development activities for BENTELER Electric Drive System.

Research and development of innovative technology for laser assisted thermosonic wire bonding. Development and testing of new bonding systems for cell contacting of lithium-ion batteries. Coding, implementation and validation of simulation models for electromechanical & thermal systems

Project lead in the "it's OWL" innovation project for reliable copper bonding connections manufacturing. Involved in the "EFRE.NRW" research project focusing on high-performance bonding in energy-efficient power semiconductors.

Title of the Doctoral Thesis: Model-based Multi-objective Optimization for Manufacturing Ultrasonic Wire Bond Connections in Power Semiconductor Modules.
