30+ years of IT experience from which primarily I have been working on physical and virtual system environments, networks and maintenance for Enterprise Companies in EMEA and USA. During the time with Novell/SUSE Linux, I have specialized in Point of Sales system integration, migration, automation, especially GK Software POS solutions. Moving on to EDEKA, responsible for the OS system platform integrating the GK POS software and additional retail components for our EDEKA stores. In 2018 I started my Cloud native journey, willing to take up tasks outside the comfort zone. From Lift&Shift to a Kubernetes infrastructure, deep knowledge in modern scalable and production-ready microservices combined with a strong knowledge in cluster orchestration. Well versed with cloud architecture best practices, especially on GCP & Azure. Strong technical Cloud/DevSecOps mindset, with great attention to detail paired with a good understanding of software quality assurance principles and security.
