Über mich
I am currently working on my PhD concentrating on the Identification of predictive proteome profiles in prostate cancer. The aim of my project is to (i) elucidate the impact of ERG-overexpression as a predictive biomarker for the response of PCa to the double treatment with PARP -and/or ERG- inhibition plus ionizing irradiation and (ii) investigate and identify characteristic proteome profiles for the response to these inhibitors. This project is part of the graduate school "GS-InTechCanDiTh" at the University Cancer Center Hamburg (UCCH). After completing my bachelor's in Biochemistry and Biology, I undertook my master's degree in "Genome Based Systems Biology" (Master of Science) at the University of Bielefeld (Germany). During my master thesis, I got the opportunity to enter the research field of Genetics of Prokaryotes, and I focused on the genetically- and metabolically development of gram-positive bacterial strain Corynebacterium glutamicum for the bio-production of Coenzyme Q10.
