Björn Strömberg

Working as a Principal consultant and member of the Board of Directors of 7N Finland Oy, a fully owned subsidiary of 7N A/S, a company based in Denmark and operating also in Norway, Sweden, Germany, Switzerland, Poland and India. 7N has a background of 20 years’ experience in both private and public sectors in IT consulting services. 7N A/S acquired Agree2 Finland to have presence in the Finnish market especially for the needs of the large Nordic customers.

I am responsible for Agree2 business in Finland. My responsibilities in customer assignments are mainly in the area of project/program management, change management, process and systems development and global deployments.

Responsible for developing and controlling the Professional Services function globally. The PS function generates approximately one third of Basware's revenue. During my time at Basware I have been responsible for implementing globally processes and tools in the area of project delivery methodology, project management and reporting, invoicing, productivity follow-up, forecasting and bid approval, resulting in better transparency in the PS function globally.

Sales and consulting in the Nordic telecom sector. Achievement: Break through sales into Procurement area.

Working with a number of small growth companies and start-ups: COO of Conformiq (8 employees), software testing automation (with Nexit Ventures) and CEO of Radionet (35 employees), city-wide WLAN networks (later sold to Airspan).

MD and co-founder of a company providing IT-consultancy with local and off-shore consultants (18 consultants, 27% EBIT). Participating in IPO to Helsinki Stock Exchange.

Starting from programming, systems design, project management, business process re-engineering to business strategy formulation. During that time I worked in Finland, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Germany, UK, Hungary, Switzerland, Belgium and Sweden.

Masters thesis in production planning, CAD drawing, offer creation of large elevator deliveries to the Australian market.
