Bohdan Yemchuk

As a private entrepreneur, I help companies and individuals worldwide with their design needs. Also, provide consulting and art direction services. Have worked with companies in a wide variety of fields, such as lighting design, concrete fire pits, logistics, copywriting, blockchain, and tech.

Our team worked on launching LOFI-DEFI — a crypto-related project, that combines social platform, NFT marketplace and gallery. As a Lead Designer, I was responsible for brand consistency, managing design assets, creation of supporting advertising materials (e.g., ads banners, social media posts, etc.) Heavily used and improved 3D design skills. In addition, took part in launching a few other projects, which our company helped as a consulting agency.

NEM Group is a blockchain company, mostly known in Asian region. Being a part of marketing design team, I was responsible for creating and updating graphic materials (mostly social media) for two products: NEM and Symbol. Together with UI/UX design department, took part in rebranding process after NEM and Symbol merged. Here I got new experience and knowledge, working in blockchain-related field for the first time. I learned a lot about blockchain as a technology itself, cryptocurrencies, NFT and DeFi.

German sport-related startup Sport Technology Systems (after rebranding known as iotis) was developing innovative smart ball for football trainings. My role was to help with all graphic, motion, and social media design materials. I used and improved my UI/UX skills, creating interface for upcoming mobile app, that should be used together with the smart ball. Together with Fabian Ernst (former professional football player) also organized football camps for kids, for which I created different print materials.

After being appointed to the Team Lead position, I also became responsible for managing and coordinating the design team, employee training, internal business processes.

SODA is a digital agency from Ukraine, which works with big real estate companies all over Ukraine. The tasks of our marketing design department included branding, creating print materials, creative companies and outdoor advertising. Sometimes we had to work with unusual outdoor constructions, that required additional knowledge of pre-press and how to do everything correct. As an agency, we took part in different social problems related tenders, and events.

24D is an independent small design studio, based in Kyiv, Ukraine. Working there under art director's supervision greatly improved all my design skills. I had diverse tasks, including outdoor advertising, print design and pre-press, image compositing, branding. Moreover, I learned how to communicate with clients, manage and coordinate work of remote employees. In 24D I got basic web design skills, learned how to create websites on WordsPress and Tilda.

Tucha is Ukrainian VPS provider, that offers cloud hosting solutions for business. Working there, I was responsible for social media graphics, print collateral materials and supporting corporate websites. Started learning and improving After Effects skills for creating simple animations. Most graphics I created manually, using Wacom graphic tablet, that also improved my illustration and composition skills.
