Internship between Jan 2009 until June 2009 •Provide a market study of current market conditions for the Charles de Gaulle cargo freight operation including but not limited to type of goods imported and exported from and to France; competition and distribution patterns between different transportation methods (e.g. train, road, sea) •Benchmark current Charles de Gaulle cargo operations vs. other logistics centers (e.g. Schipol, Memphis (FedEx), Beijing).

•Responsible for a supplier change for the most critical component of the disposable insulin cartridges. Supplier change provided a cost savings of $2.2 Million USD-project implementation 10 months. •Implemented an aggressive outsource plan for the manufacturing of subassemblies of the insulin pumps. Outsource provided a cost savings of $1.6 Million USD –record project implementation of 5 months •Managed day to day Singapore contract manufacturer activities for the disposable insulin cartridge.

Managed the implementation for replacement molds utilized in the manufacturing of disposable cartridges for insulin pumps. Fabrication, implementation and transition without interruption of product supply was achieved in record time of 4 months with a cost avoidance of $9,125,000 Lead the implementation of various cost improvement projects at a contract manufacturing facility increasing overall plant capacity; yielding annual cost savings of approximately $500,000.

Developed a supply chain process for a development center located at the McNeil Fort Washington, PA facility. The supply chain process became the model for other deployment-production sites at Puerto Rico and Ireland. Conducted analysis of the current operations of the FW Development site center to determine commercialization feasibility. Assessed process steps that needed improvement to increase productivity and reduce manufacturing downtime.

Responsible for forecasting and order replenishment of approximately 4000 stock-keeping units (SKU) generating over $65 million in sales annually. Achieved the implementation of supply chain improvements specific to customer – Kmart. Provided reverse distribution savings of $250,000 and Out of Stock yearly Savings of $4,300,000. Led the collaboration of demand/supply issues among planning, customer and sales to ensure product availability and cost savings initiatives.

•Lead the optimization of Tylenol® Arthritis by reducing 55% of manufacturing cycle time and Improving ergonomic conditions. Project Cost $300000 •Coordinated, implemented and qualified the material charging process to support Tylenol ®8 Hour. Output increment from PV 2.2 to 2.5. Reduction of cycle time 80% in charging and 30% in cleaning.

 Assisted the Technology Transfer of Tylenol® Brands from a contract site into McNeil Manufacturing Facilities by providing project management and technical expertise for the FRPII Facilities Rationalization Plan. Project contributed $2 Million in annual cost savings Worked with competing vendors to obtain material, equipment price and performance information. Co-authored and coordinated orders, lead-time and shipment of equipment. Supported the installation, start-up and qualification of equipment.
