    Emesa is a leading online consumer auction platform in the European leisure industry. In January 2013, Oakley sold Emesa to Cyrte Investments B.V. for €95 million. After an unsuccessful attempt in 2011, a new roll out was launched in Germany under the "Aladoo" brand. I joined the team and was responsible for strategic marketing in DACH. Due to financial constraints within the Emesa-Group (mother entity) the German business was discontinued in February 2014.

    Lieferando started in 2008 to digitize the food delivery market. Using a state-of-the-art online platform and mobile app as well as excellent and creative marketing, Lieferando quickly succeeded. After the exit in 2014, Lieferando belongs to the Takeaway.com holding group, one of the top three online food marketplaces in Europe. In 2009, I joined the founding team of Lieferando as one of the first employees and accompanied the company through the following four years through all stages.

    For me, the entry into digital marketing - as for so many at the time - was classically via a Rocket Internet venture. In my case: TopTarif. In 2008, TopTarif was a successful and serious competitor of Check24. Since 2014, TopTarif has belonged to Verivox GmbH and thus to the ProSiebenSat.1 Group. I was responsible for display marketing and monetization of the website. I developed high-reach creative concepts and devised creative ways to monetize traffic on the TopTarif.de platform (new condition models).
