Responsible for the establishment of Market Development across Europe through creation of a marketing strategy based upon Mathmarketing principles to enable effective targeting of potential clients together with the sales team in order to drive the buyers journey from feeling the pain through to understanding the need and finally selecting the CHEP value proposition.

Responsible for the retention and lane growth of 5 Automotive OEM and 5 Tier 1 key accounts, this including: Budgeting, staffing, definition of deliverables & result delivery, new country entry, lane growth and contract revenue of ~ $100 million (annual), including the supply chain. Reporting to VP Automotive. • 32 vehicle manufacturing & power-train plants, 550 suppliers, over 2500 locations across 8 countries.

Responsible for all matters relating to the retention and lane growth of a global Automotive OEM key account. Reporting to VP Automotive Business. • Created OEM retention strategy & executed business plan. Secured OEM savings >$1 million/annum. • Contract extension (3 year) achieved ahead of schedule, avoiding open tender. Value ~$100M. • Effective asset management resulting in zero stock losses on account. • Introduction of SAP (Managed Service) to OEM for own / supplier container management purposes.

Responsible for pallet operations delivering to the supply chain in support of the FMCG sector (primarily foodstuffs, beverage & household ) in Germany, Central & Eastern Europe & Scandinavia. Primary aim to deliver supply chain savings despite a higher cost per pallet through scale, better asset control & transport savings. 300 million pallet movements per year. Reporting to Director Plant Operations. • Achieved through 70 Retail and Subcontractor Service Centres. • Direct reports of 7 Regional Managers

Initially responsible for Germany and finally Northern European Operations delivering to the supply chain in support of the Automotive Business (6 car manufacturers). Reporting to Director European Plant Operations. • Achieved through 5 CHEP / Sub-contracted production Service Centres. • Direct Reports 12 (including 5 Plant Managers and 2 analysts). • Introduced the Automotive Restructuring Programme and “Zero Harm” modules. • Introduced European SOP’s and extended Automotive operations into Eastern Eur
