Overall Group’s responsibility for the integration of acquired companies with regular reporting to the Group’s Executive Board: - Definition and execution of Post-Acquisition integration strategies - Project manage integration plans leading cross-functional teams - Develop and track integration success metrics

Merged duties from two previous positions i.e. management of both M&A and Post-Acquisition integrations within the Business Unit Performance Materials

Comprehensive management of M&A activities within Business Unit Performance Materials from deal origination to Closing and transition to the integration phase. This includes: Definition of acquisition strategies; Identification, approach and evaluation of potential targets; Supervising due diligence process including selection and management of external advisors; Negotiation of Sale and Purchase Agreements; Evaluation of deal structuring alternatives; Definition of post-acquisition integration plan

Post-Acquisition Integration of acquired companies; Project management and reporting: identification and set-up of cross-functional teams, definition of tasks, work plans and milestones, cost controlling; Implementation of IT related projects (SAP, Salesforce) on a global and/or local scale; Achievement of organizational efficiency gains.

Project management at multinational clients; coordination of international teams in different activity sectors. Core competences: Integrated procurement optimization; supplier management; product category management; strategic sourcing; tendering, negotiations and contracting; procurement organization and processes
