Manager for Navigation, Infotainment and Connected Car services for 911, Cayenne, Taycan and Panamera models. Electronic control units, mobile connectivity, cloud backend systems as well as artificial intelligence and information/data security are some important aspects of my work. In support of internationalization and scaling I lead the project team for rolling out the connected car services to 8 markets.

The Connected Vehicle (CoVe) Solution aimed at offering smart mobility services to B2C customers by connecting cars to the internet. I was leading the development activities for all GPS based services within the CoVe Solution. In addition to building up the IT Service Management team, I lead the transition of the CoVe solution from project status into an operational service fullfilling high availability service level agreements.

The Car Multimedia division focuses on navigation, infotainment and cockpit solutions of next generation cars. As senior software engineer and technical project lead I was responsible for developing the data compiler, which is part of Boschs navigation system platform, for OEM projects. As part of the localization strategy I supervised the data compiler dev team in China. Further activities comprised the evaluation of new technologies building demonstrators presented to C-Level management and customers.

Fraunhofer is the leading applied research organization in Europe focusing on natural sciences and engineering. As Postdoc at the institute of optronics, system technologies and image exploitation (IOSB), I developed models for monitoring urban areas based on geodata and machine learning. Furthermore, I contributed to the acquisition of international industry and EU Projects (FP7).

Conducted research for effective damage and situation assessments in post-conflict and natural disaster areas based on satellite imagery, field-based positioning and imaging devices and other ancillary data with DG RELEX (external relations) and ECHO (EC Humanitarian Office) as the main customers. Software engineer for SAPs product configuration engine based on artificial intelligence. Tasks included the specification, implementation and testing of new software developments, as well as third level support for large installations on productive systems.
