I've worked in Open Source for over 30 years. Most of my work has been on the back end, but more recently it has been web based. After living in Australia for 20 years, I find myself missing Europe. It's lovely here, but there's a lack of culture, history, and different languages. I'm looking to move back to Europe as soon as I can find suitable work. I joined this startup company in Silicon Valley with a friend I worked with in Germany earlier. I wrote an email gateway that converted cc:Mail email into standard Internet email format. We later moved to Hong Kong to address the Asian market. Although the company is no more, our email gateway did run at the White House for a while.
