Assisted with incident response, and remediation of compromised systems in accordance with DOE guidelines.

Lead engineer in a proof-of-concept / prototype test lab for CJIS Division of the FBI, utilizing EMC Storage, Cisco MDS Director, HP & IBM Blades, RHEL, HP-UX operating systems; designing and implementing customer requests and security requirements while maintaining a strict schedule for completion of projects.

Managed 8 subsystems with 190 TB of storage, 6 - McData 6140 / 6064 Directors, 6 - McData 4700 / 4500 switches, 2 - McData 2640 Routers, and 132 SAN attached servers. Assisted with Tivoli Storage Manager Administration of over 530 Windows, AIX, Red Hat Linux, and HP-UX servers backing up 4.2 terabytes of data nightly. Managed 3 VMware ESX servers for the UNIX Team, assisted the Windows Server Team with managing and upgrading 12 ESX servers covering 2 data centers from ESX 2.0 to 3.0.

Piloted the rollout of a new point of sales register system, partnered with vendors, programmers, and store management to deliver final product to all stores. Developed quick reference guides for 108 stores for the point of sales register systems, RF scanner systems, network printers, and depot maintenance procedures. Implemented depot repair maintenance procedures in 31 stores, trained store management on new procedures, effectively reducing the cost of onsite repairs for store equipment
