Project Manager for life of field related projects on the eastern hemisphere

Consultant as Mechanical Engineering for Alten. Inventing and assisting development for new solutions for rollermills at Mogårdshammar AB.

As a tender designer one has to work side by side with the sales department. Translating customer specifications and requirements into a designed product and within a short, but strict, timeframe make sure it is as accurate as possible. The tender work included orders up to 170M USD in all geographic areas.

In the team leader role the tasks were to translate upper managements requests into daily working goals and then present them to the group and make a long and short term plan on how to reach them. This required much planning and communication, as well as good leadership and to understand different people’s needs and interests.

As a project manager for the aftersales department, the resources are limited and the budget strict. Everything from tender, budget customer meetings, design, purchase, meeting suppliers to final inspection was made by the project manager. Geographic areas included Sweden and Australia.

As a project designer the projects would last from two months to a year. Designs were done in teams and required accurate individual as well as team planning to reach deadlines with an even workload. The teams contained from three to twelve designers.
