Prof. Dr. Fadl Essa

I was born in Kafrelsheikh, Egypt, on May 15th, 1988. I received a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kafrelsheikh University in 2010. Then, I received my master's degree on June 2nd, 2014 from Tanta University, Egypt. In 2013, I spent one month at People’s Friendship University of Russia, Moscow, Russia. Also, I got my Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the School of Mechanical and Electronic Engineering, Wuhan University of Technology, Wuhan, China on June, 2018. I am assistant professor of Mechanical Engineering, Kafrelsheikh University. The main research fields are water desalination, solar energy applications, sustainable energy development, and material and nanoparticles characterization. I won numerous scientific awards such as the State Encouragement Award (2020) in Engineering Science - Egypt, the Chinese Government Outstanding International Student Scholarship Award from the Chinese Scholarship Council. Besides, I published more than 140 SCI journal papers.
