Professionalizing several HR topics with a special interest in (international) recruitment and HR development (HRD). By re-evaluating and optimizing recruitment strategies and implementing new technological HR solutions Bierens is able to boost its employer branding and attract the right (international) talented professionals.

Within this role I advised four management teams simultaneously in order to align strategic, tactical and also operational HR-related themes to the organizational goals (e.g. Great Place to Work). As an HR advisor I was also responsible for the recruitment strategy and operationalization within the Contact Center department.

At GGN I provided proactive support to managers regarding all HR related topics with special interest in recruitment. In addition to my role as an advisor, I coached, mediated and motivatedmanagers especially during the several large organizational restructuring rounds which took place. Furthermore, I focused on employee development and education and contributed to the implementation of new HR policies within the organization.

Masterthesis within close collaboration with AWVN (Dutch employer association). Title: In flow with your team. How personal traits and organizational contexts can influence leadership styles.

Masterthesis title: When the lay-off axe swings. Downsizing, justice perceptions and survivors’ commitment to the organization.Attended English for Academic Purposes Summercourse (2010). Acquired certificate CEF-level: C1+. Premaster Human Resources Studies (2009) successfully passed.

Bachelor thesis title: Doing HR for HR. A study to investigate the development and appliance of HR instruments in an organizational without HR.
