As a Senior Financial Sector Specialist, I organize and provide technical assistance to governments and central banks in a series of thematic areas related to financial systems: regulatory and policy frameworks, payment systems development, financial inclusion, identity, government payments, and international remittances. I participate clients’ assessments against relevant standards, support the development of global knowledge reports, and contribute to the work of international standard-setting bodies.

As a Director in this position, I led the creation of software that produces contextual business recommendations on a data set. Its adoption rapidly spread across multiple use cases in diverse geographies. Moreover, I productized consulting approaches related to card payment authentication and authorization to optimize the use of best practices across consulting teams.

As expert of the Market Integration Division my responsibilities are to: - Directly monitor business and technological developments in the market of payment cards; - Develop and integrate strategic policies in the field of payments from their conceptualization to practical implementation with a focus on innovation; - Design market analysis to be proposed for discussion within the competent Eurosystem working group; - Represent the Bank at meetings and fora with retail payment industry stakeholders.

As management consultant in the financial services industry with a focus on retail banking I conducted on-site projects for various banking institutions. Projects: - payment card products development in coordination with a cross-functional team of IT, marketing, legal, etc.; - a card portfolio migration set up with the development of selected direct marketing activities; - a marketing campaign design including customer base analysis, incentive and material creation and monitoring.

I worked as a management consultant. The main consulting projects i did: - The prepaid payment product design and launch (Business case development, quantitative/qualitative consumer survey definition, payment scheme licensing activity support) - The support to start up sales pitch creation for business development.

I worked as management consultant following the preparatory activities to support the internationalization process of a subsidiary of a major bank and the assessment of the Italian payment market, with focus on the changing European legal framework.

I covered several roles during this experience started with an internship: - Served as the sales account team member for European banking institutions responsible for conducting extensive data and financial analysis of a team with an overall budget of more than 90 Mil € revenues in 18 countries; - Prepared and produced reports on revenues and business drivers while also defining quarterly and yearly forecasts;
