* Leading the development of B2B data-products based on weather and geo-location data. * Consulting projects for customers in different sectors (tourism, online publishing, retail, real-estate) with focus on time-series modelling. * Collaboration with mobile-dev and tech teams to develop and maintain the data pipeline from mobile devices to the cloud-based back-end. * Supporting the business development team in managing relations with (potential) customers and partners.

* Collaboration with different departments (Network Engineering, Marketing, Strategy) to identify data-driven business cases and assess their potential. * Conception and realisation of Proofs-of-Concepts for the application of innovative machine learning models (Driver Analysis and Intervention Simulation using Causal Networks).

* Responsible for the conception, realisation and management of Big Data, Predictive Analytics and Business Intelligence projects. * Analyses of project costs and risks, writing of business proposals. * Project management ensuring on-time deliveries, customer satisfaction and high return. * Modelling and implementation of data analyses (e.g. Forecasting, Clustering, Classification) and of software / analytic prototypes exploring innovative ideas and technologies (e.g. Natural Language Understanding).

* I conducted research work on open issues in theoretical particle physics and cosmology. Main part of the work consisted of writing a software for scanning the parameter space of a certain model, running it on a super-computer cluster, and performing a statistical analysis on the results. * Results were published on international peer reviewed journals, and presented at international conferences. * As part of the duties I held several classes on both basic and advanced topics.
