Franziska Sophie Richter

I used the time between semesters to gain work experience. In the water analysis department, I was responsible for planning efficient and eco-friendly tours for water-collection. I also informed and advised customers and was able to find long-lasting solutions for all upcoming problems.

I worked in the laboratory on two projects researching SARS-CoV-2. Project 1: study on the CureVac vaccine. Project 2: study on the prevalence of antibodies against SARS-CoV-2 in Tübingen children (Coro-buddy)). I reported to the Senior Scientist group leader. After my introduction to project 2, i changed my role into trainer to serve the knowledge transfer to new employees.

Synovo is specialized in drug discovery services in pharmacology, medicinal chemistry and bioanalytics. I supported several laboratory projects and worked on the consolidation of the pharmaceutical database.

Interacting with customers, preparation of drinks, supervision and training of new employees, receiving and checking incoming stock.

During my last years of highschool, I worked as a volunteer in the local Fair Trade Shop. I organized events (FairTauschen), ordered new products and had further training to improve my skills.

I am currently working on my Master Thesis at the department of Environmental Toxicology. I expect to be finished at the end of August 2023 and i am looking forward to apply my knowledge and drive to a career that will help me improve my skills.

During my bachelor studies, i completed an Erasmus semester at the University of Oslo. I was responsible for the practical implementation of a longer project within my toxicology master courses.

Grade: 1.66 (Good) Bachelor thesis title: Histopathological evaluation of the impact of metformin on the liver and the intestine of brown trout (Salmo trutta f. fario).
